And that's why I like God
A lot of the things that many Christians attribute to the intervention of God in their lives I see as nothing more than life happening. But there are some things that for me can only be described as God’s direct involvement in life. This is one of them.
This week Christine went down to Cardiff to photograph a conference. It was a big step for her both professionally and personally.
When she left Thursday morning for the 4.5 hour drive she felt like she was coming down with a cold. When she got there at 1 pm she was definitely sick. But she had to get straight to work and shot photos until 10 that night.
She woke up Friday with a fever in excruciating pain and nauseous. She was staying at Carl Brettle’s house. Fortunately, Gary and Sarah Morgan – Christine did not know them at all – who have a healing ministry were also staying there. She asked them to pray for her. While they were praying Gary said to her: You always get sick when you step into something new for God, don’t you.
Nail. Head. Direct hit.
So they prayed about that. by early afternoon she was COMPLETELY BETTER. And that’s why I like God.
