God as a time lord
Theologians debate whether God exists inside time or outside of it. That’s not what this is about. It’s about Doctor Who.
God is not the Doctor, and the Doctor is not God, but they must make things using some of the same technology.
Everyone knows that the Tardis is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. All of us who watch the show just accept that. We think it is impossible, but we accept it.
It’s not impossible though.
Look at people. They are bigger on the inside than they are on the outside. Loves, hates, fears, courage, hurts, hopes, potential – all bigger than a human body.
That’s how I understand this statement from Ecclesiastes: He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV)
